Hi, I’m Chiamaka Nancy.
Photographer. Visual storyteller. Quiet observer with a loud lens.
I’m the creative mind and heart behind DeStrangeImages—a photography brand grounded in truth, identity, and soul. My work is deeply personal yet universal, capturing the beauty in everyday moments and the stories that often go untold. I don’t just take pictures—I create safe spaces for people to be seen, felt, and remembered.
With years of experience behind the camera, I’ve honed a documentary style that is both raw and intentional. I use natural light, clean composition, and a color palette rooted in earth tones—browns, blacks, whites, purples, and grays—to elevate emotions over perfection. Whether I’m photographing street vendors in motion, women in their strength, or children in their innocence, my goal is always the same: to honor reality through art.
But my skillset isn’t limited to photography alone. I’m also a creative director, an environmental advocate, and a firm believer in visual impact as a tool for social change. I bring empathy, curiosity, and a deep respect for culture and community into every project I take on.
What sets me apart is my commitment to purpose over performance. I don’t chase trends—I pursue truth. I don’t rush moments—I wait for meaning. Every session with me is thoughtful, human, and deeply connected to the story behind the lens.
This isn’t just a brand. This is my identity.
And I’m here to help you honor yours.
